April 12: "Saturday Studios" Hosted by the Catskill Gallery Association in Catskill, these evenings will promote the arts in the region, create a place to go, and a reason to go there. Network, look at art, have a good conversation. Mingle with an artist or a friend, listen to a discussion, expand your collection of art. It's life. It's spontaneous. And it's happening in Catskill! Main Street galleries will be open and receiving visitors and friends the third Saturday of every month. Many shops and restaurants will also be open. 6:00 pm. Rubber ducks will be released on the stream running through the village from Main Street to beside Rip Van Winkle Lake where the festival will be held with live music, craft vendors, food and family fun. July 12: Hudson Athens Lighthouse Tour. Visitors to the lighthouse have access to the entire house. The tower offers a spectacular 360-degree view of the Hudson River and the Catskill Mountains.
