Catskill Conversation: Solace & Sanctuary, The Ashokan's Enduring Gifts

Award-winning painter Kate McGloughlin and beloved local author Gail Straub will celebrate the Ashokan Reservoir with their new book of oil paintings and inspirational essays in a presentation and Q&A at the Ashokan Center. 

The artist and author will sign copies of their brand new 54 page hard cover book "Solace & Sanctuary, The Ashokan's Enduring Gifts"  with 24 color reproductions of McGloughlin’s luminous oil paintings of the Ashokan Reservoir, and twenty inspirational reflections on Straub’s ongoing relationship with this beautiful part of the Catskills. A collection of the artist's work will be on display and they'll be joined by special musical guests Steve Gorn and Jay Ungar & Molly Mason who will close the event with a special tune.
